James Payton (Professor Emeritus of History at Redeemer University College in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada) will present on his book, The Victory of the Cross (IVP Academic, 2019), a work that discussed the contributions of Eastern Orthodox soteriology from a sympathetic Western perspective. Tim Perry (Adjunct Professor of Theology at Saint Paul University and Trinity School for Ministry) will present on The Theology of Benedict XVI: A Protestant Appreciation (Lexham Press, 2019) a collection of essays from prominent, Protestant theologians regarding the work of Pope Benedict XVI. Following his presentation, a panel of Christian theologians will discuss this presentation. Tim Perry is also author of Mary for Evangelicals: Toward an Understanding of the Mother of Our Lord and editor of The Legacy of John Paul II: An Evangelical Assessment.
