About the Course

The book of Isaiah is quoted over sixty times in the New Testament, behind the book of Psalms alone. While the significance of this work cannot be overlooked, Isaiah remains a mystery for many Christians. This course is designed to give students an introduction to the book of Isaiah so they may be better equipped to understand it and its New Testament application. Following this course, students will be able to interpret the Isaiah, understanding its ancient context and its use in the New Testament.

This course is lecture and discussion based. During each class session, students will be broken up into various small groups for discussion. It is reccomended that students register in groups of at least three to facilitate deeper discussion in these groups.
