George Weigel

George Weigel currently serves as a Distinguished Senior Fellow of the Ethics and Public Policy Center. He was also the Founding President of the James Madison Foundation. He has written many books including "The Irony of Modern Catholic History: How the Church Rediscovered Itself and Challenged the Modern World to Reform" (Basic Books, 2019), "Lessons in Hope: My Unexpected Life with St. John Paul II" (Basic Books, 2017), and the book discussed in this conference, "The Next Pope: The Office of Peter and a Church in Mission" (Ignatius Press, 2020).
