The Triune Identity
Robert Jenson, Ph.D. was leading American Lutheran and ecumenical theologian. He began teaching and writing mostly philosophy, switching definitely into theology during his tenure at Oxford University. Since then, he has worked as a systematic theologian in the service of the church. His work has spanned the limits of the discipline from explorations in the theology of culture and in theological political theory to strictly dogmatic expositions. He wrote many books including, "Christian Dogmatics" (Fortress Press, 2011), "Covenant and Hope: Christian and Jewish Reflections" (Eerdmans, 2012), and the book discussed in this interview, "The Triune Identity: God According to the Gospel" (Wipf and Stock, 2002).
