“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (Psalm 139.13-14). In his wisdom, God created imbedded humanity with unique temperaments and personalities. As a result, the Christian Church cannot advocate a one-size-fits-all spirituality. In this course students will have the opportunity to read and discuss Gary Thomas’s book, Sacred Pathways: Discover Your Soul’s Path to God, a work that discusses nine temperaments and how they can help Christians better understand personally approaching God.
